Tudel I. Torres
Principal Director · Structural Engineer
Mr. Torres has over 15 years’ experience in the highway and infrastructure industries across the countries of Belize and Cuba. He has worked with some of the largest local and foreign construction and consulting firms and has established a membership in the Association of Professional Engineers of Belize (APEB). He has a master’s degree in the steel and bridge structures and a bachelor’s degree in building and civil engineering.
Norys Rosales
Director · Building and Civil Engineer
Ms. Rosales has over 2 years’ experience in the highway and infrastructure development. Her expertise also encompasses practices in architecture such as interior design and home renovation. She has a bachelor’s degree in Building and Civil Engineering attained from the Technological University of Havana.
Pedro Villegas
Environment and Social Specialist
Mr. Villegas is an author and environmental & social specialist with over 25 years in the infrastructure-development and Health & Safety industries. He has carried out environmental impact assessments, water and air quality assessment, feasibility studies. His expertise is in wastes, water, industry, and chemicals management. He has a variety of experiences in management consultancy including in capacity building.
Calvin Young
Site Inspector and Surveyor
Mr. Young is a senior surveyor and site inspector for highway and infrastructure development. He has a Building and Civil Engineering diploma from the City and Guilds of London Institute and has an array of knowledge and experience in the surveying and inspection fields for highway construction and supervision.
Manolo Romero
Site Inspector and Materials Technician
Mr. Romero has over 10 years of experience in the infrastructure development industry in Belize. He is the leading inspector and materials technician of Merkhet Engineering and has knowledge in the leading sectors of quality assurance including geotechnical testing and inspection.
Nigel Requena
Junior Architect and Administrator
Mr. Requena is a junior in the industry with two years of experience in the architectural and civil design field. He has worked with international consulting firms principally on designs of highway infrastructure and has knowledge in managerial development, administration, and consultancy.
Jose Cespedes
Software Engineer
Professional with over 14 years of experience in different fields of the Software development process. Software Architect, Object-Oriented Programming, Design and implementation of Web applications. Database Design. Data Structures, Advanced Programming, Design and Analysis of Algorithms, and Network Administration. Management skills to maximize levels of productivity in the Project team.
