Civil & Structural Engineering Design
Foundation and superstructure systems designed to the Florida Building Code, 8th Edition (2023). Wind loads are derived under ASCE 7-22 for the High Velocity Hurricane Zone, and members are proportioned to ACI 318-19 for concrete and AISC 360-22 for structural steel.

Surveying & Mapping
Boundary retracement and topographic survey tied to project control, referenced horizontally to NAD83(2011) and vertically to NAVD 88. Every traverse is closed, adjusted and reported with its precision ratio stated on the face of the drawing.

As-Built & Record Documentation
Record drawings verified against the constructed work and checked to the tolerance standards that govern it: ACI 117-10 for cast-in-place concrete and AISC 303 for structural steel erection.

Permitting & Regulatory Coordination
Submittal packages prepared to the reviewing authority’s checklist and carried through plan review. Every comment is answered in writing and every resubmittal is tracked through to the issued permit.

Merkhet Engineering LLC is young as a company. Its directors are not. The firm was built around work they have already delivered: highway and infrastructure inspection, structural design, survey and environmental assessment, and around the niches where that experience decides the outcome.

The architectural branch produces BIM models and renderings, so a client can walk through a design before it is built. The civil and structural branch runs analysis in CYPECAD and verifies every scheme against interstory drift, beam deflection and foundation bearing limits.
Both branches answer to a quality management function that holds the work to one standard, whoever produced it.
